Creating A Ticket

Students:

Department policy states that before coming to the CSRs in EB440, please create a ticket using eceticket.byu.edu. This is the best way to communicate with the CSRs about each issue, as CSRs may not always be readily available. The ticketing system utilizes everyone's time most effectively and gives the CSRs a better method for planning out and assigning a CSR to each ticket. Be sure you are as detailed as can be when describing your issue. Again, stopping by EB440 is prohibited unless asked to come down by a CSR.

Professors/Faculty:

You can either create a ticket or come to the CSRs office in EB440, whichever method is more convenient.

Steps to Create a Ticket:

  1. Go to eceticket.byu.edu and select "Open a new Ticket"
  2. Sign in using your BYU NetID
  3. Choose the help topic best suited for the issue and fill out the required information. Below is an example for "Computer Support / Other" and the required information.
